Solo en la ciudad nacen los monstruos
Abstract
The following article explores the representation of the city in the literary discourse in the writings of Pablo Palacio. It emphasizes the relation between the construction of the space and the body of the characters, both individually and collectively, as well as the characteristics that make one or the other become monstrous. Therefore, the relationship between power, the control of the individual body and the control of the public body – that is, the configuration of the city –are analyzed, both in terms of its processes of inclusion and the mechanisms of exclusion of those who are not considered citizens.
