El artículo examina la idea de la creación en la tradición cristiana, a partir de algunos textos del Génesis y del evangelio de San Juan. Subraya que la idea de creación, tal como se ha desarrollado en el pensamiento occidental es equiparable en buena medida a la noción de sentido y de racionalidad. La noción de creación, rectamente entendida, genera las condiciones mentales propicias para la investigación científica.
