Abortion and its Social Aspect.

Abstract

The liberalization of abortion is usually posed around two principles: that of individual freedom and the lesser evil. This posture becomes untenable when considering the phenomenon of abortion in the fabric of society. Human life cannot be considered as any other event within an asset weighting, because it is the fundamental good that defines society. On the other hand, abortion violates the principle of freedom. Once it is established as a right, it ends up configuring itself, in practice, as an obligation that harms the conscience of those who work within the framework of the state health services.
