Juan Larrea Holguin is one of the most outstanding characters in the Ecuadorian culture of the last decades. His noted contributions as a jurist and an ecclesiast are accompanied by his facets as painter, educator and diplomatic advisor, among others. This article intends to see beyond the illustrious character and prolific author, and discover a little more of the man, the professor, the friend, thereby obtaining a fuller perspective of his personality.Downloads
