Retraction Policy

A retraction will be issued when a published article contains serious errors, falsification, data fabrication, plagiarism, has been published in another journal, or involves any other form of scientific and/or ethical misconduct in the research process that significantly compromises the validity or integrity of the work.

Implementation of the Retraction

1. Retraction Notice

  • Publication of the notice: a retraction notice will be published on the journal's website, clearly marked and linked to the affected article. The notice will explain the reasons for the retraction and who made the decision.
  • Accessibility: the notice indicating that the article has been retracted will be freely accessible and available at the same location as the original article, or a link to the notice will be included at the original article's location.
  • Notification of authors: authors will be informed of the decision to retract an article and will be provided with an explanation of the reasons.

2. Marking of the Retracted Article

  • Article marking: the retracted article will remain accessible on the journal's website, but will be clearly marked as retracted on all pages of the article, including the abstract and the full text in PDF and any other output formats used. A notice indicating that it has been retracted will also be added on the journal's website.
  • Linking: the retracted article will include a link to the retraction notice to ensure that readers are fully informed of the article's status.

3. Indexing and Archives

  • Database updates: relevant databases and indexing services will be notified of the retraction so that they may update their records.
