Liderazgo escolar, Inteligencia Artificial y el imperativo ético en el enfoque STEM

La integración de la Inteligencia Artificial (IA) en la educación, en el marco del enfoque STEM (Ciencia, Tecnología, Ingeniería y Matemáticas), plantea un desafío crucial que trasciende la mera optimización técnica para avanzar hacia la justicia educativa. Esta investigación cualitativa tuvo como objetivo comprender cómo el liderazgo escolar y la ética en el uso de la IA inciden en la implementación significativa y transformadora del enfoque STEM en instituciones de educación secundaria. Se aplicaron entrevistas semiestructuradas a directivos de establecimientos con trayectorias en innovación. Los resultados revelan un conocimiento incipiente sobre la dimensión pedagógica y ética de la IA, lo que limita su potencial transformador. Sin embargo, se identifican factores críticos que deben ser considerados para el éxito de la implementación de STEM: el liderazgo distribuido, la cultura colaborativa docente y un compromiso ético explícito. Se concluye que el liderazgo escolar es determinante para incorporar y orientar la IA al servicio de objetivos transformadores como el desarrollo del pensamiento crítico y la reducción de brechas estructurales con el fin de garantizar que la enseñanza STEM se convierta en una herramienta de justicia social y equidad.
